Namun perbedaannya adalah dunia bawah lautnya, di Gili Nanggu ini kita dapat bermain dan memberi makan ikan secara langsung. Apabila kita menyemprotkan roti yang sudah dimasukkan ke dalam botol kepada ikan-ikan yang ada di Gili Nanggu, maka ikan-ikan tersebut akan berkerumun di sekitar kita. Betapa serunya bermain bersama ikan-ikan yang dihidupi oleh alam. Bukanlah hal yang sulit untuk menemukan ikan-ikan tersebut, karena Sekitar lima meter dari bibir pantai dan dikedalaman kurang dari dua meter , kita sudah bisa bermain bersama ikan-ikan tersebut.

Ada satu hal yang unik di Gili Nanggu ini yaitu ketika kita menggemgam botol kosong ke arah ikan, maka ikan-ikan tersebut akan tetap mendekat ke arah botol kosong tersebut. Mungkin ikan tersebut sudah terbiasa dimanja para pengunjung dengan memberi mereka makan melalui botol. Apabila dibandingkan karang di Gili Nanggu dengan Gili Kedis, maka saya mengatakan karang di Gili Kedis lebih banyak dan lebat. Namun, kalau berbicara mengenai kepuasan melihat dan bermain bersama ikan maka Gili Nanggu masih yang terbaik. Apalagi bila disandingkan dengan Gili Trawangan, keindahan bawah laut Gili Kedis dan Gili Nanggu masih lebih unggul. Perbedaannya hanya pada fasilitas saja, fasilitas di Gili Trawangan sudah sangat lengkap dan terpenuhi sementara di Gili Kedis tidak ada fasilitas dan di Gili Nanggu hanya terdapatHome Stay yang dikelolah oleh pihak swasta.
